Project objective:

This client, with clear growth ambitions, wanted to achieve 50% more turnover in two years’ time. The target for the coming year was 25% and for the following year the remaining 25% to incrase the turnover. In the existing situation, they found little room to act. Facilities were therefore necessary. Nevertheless, two demands were made. The extra turnover had to be achieved with the current employees, still in day shifts. There were a number of reasons for this, but they are irrelevant in this case. Another tricky issue was the delivery of material to the machines.

The customer initially wanted to increase the output by 60%. In order to continue to meet the demand. The parent company demanded that the growth had to take place within the existing walls. So, the assignment was to carry out a feasibility study. In order to map out whether this is possible:

o in the existing assembly hall

A lot of people complain that time flies. Was this already the case in the Middle Ages? Or is it really due to the current means and possibilities, that we ourselves no longer allow ourselves any rest. Although, I just came back from a family weekend. Lovely relaxed and rested. And as so often, on these occasions, I have gained some weight. Now on to the next party, because AQM International Consulting celebrates its 20th anniversary in August.

Remarkable is the Italian translation of time is tempo. Now the pace is there. It seems like yesterday, but it was recorded almost 4 years ago. The best thing about improving projects or setting up production lines in the manufacturing industry, is to meet a lot of people or employees, whom I have helped their working lives making agreeable, despite increased output.
